My Books
I am the author of two books on ADHD.
Fired Up
Fired Up is a unique mix of fiction and nonfiction. It's a coming-of-age story about two adolescents, Tori and Matthew, journeying through middle and high school. I apply my knowledge of ADHD to their experiences. The story begins with Matthew and Tori starting middle school, friendless. Unable to stop talking on the first day of class, both receive detention and quickly bond, disclosing to each other that they both have ADHD. Despite the challenges associated with ADHD, Tori and Matthew learn how to manage their symptoms and rise above adversity. They develop coping strategies to become independent adults, pursue postsecondary school and realize their dreams.

The Mystery Behind the Shenzhen Nongke Orchid
The Mystery Behind the Shenzhen Nongke Orchid follows a story about a boy, Nikolai, who profoundly desires friendships. His Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) creates obstacles in establishing friendships. But Nikolai excels at Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and has one friend, Sarah. Sarah acts as a friendship coach throughout identifying the thief who stole the orchid. Nikolai uses MMA in the face of ADHD and successfully works with Sarah to solve the mystery and develop new friendships.
